Theory Programs
The crane training school features a strong grounding in theory related to power-line safety, regulations, inspection and site dangers involved in crane operation. People training will gain information about load charts, rigging and hardware applications. Direct feedback and quizzes throughout the course would assist trainees solidify their understanding.
Theory course topics: Safety fundamentals for crane operators; introduction to crane certification process; rigging knowledge; crane operation knowledge; load chart knowledge; crane rigging charts; communications knowledge; crane pre-trip inspections & set-up, and crane service and maintenance.
Practical Programs
The practical training section of the crane training school emphasizes hands-on learning. This portion of the course focuses on the identification and terminology of crane components. Trainees would have the opportunity to practice skills required for crane signaling, operating and signaling.
The topics covered in the practical part consists of: Identify crane components and functions; Learn crane terminology; utilize remote control; identify rigging and wire ropes; identify documents and regulations for wire rope and rigging; pre-use check on crane; carry out right lowering and lifting of loads; carry out rigging techniques and utilize radio and hand signals.
